BAYKO Sets #0 to #2 Instruction Manual -
1946 16 Page Version

This is the earliest version of the pre-war Instruction Manual which was produced by Plimpton, in 1946, for the first post-war BAYKO sets.

It is also possible that this was used as an export version to support Plimpton's assault on the global construction toy market.

Apart from there being no price printed on the front cover, the main difference between this 16 page version and the later 20 page equivalent is the lack of the parts list and conversion set explanation...

...which were provided by one or more separate leaflets for export markets.

For the domestic market, the difference between this and the later, larger version was filled by a double sided leaflet included with each set.

The list of parts required for the various set #0 and set #1 models on pages 3 and 5 [below], respectively was shown on one side of a sparate printed sheet...

...and a parts list and explanation of the range of BAYKO sets was on the other.

This latter information is particularly interesting in that it includes sets #4X and #5!

This manual comprises 16 pages, printed in red and black on white gloss paper, with a full colour cover.

Like the domestic version, Pages 15 and 16 show photographs of BAYKO models incorporating pre-war Large bases and Wall Capping - in a post-war manual remember!!!
